Dry eye can develop when your eyes do not make enough tears or when tears evaporate too quickly. Changes in the eyelid oil glands can affect the tear film that keeps your eyes comfortable.

OptiLight by Lumenis
OptiLight uses intense pulsed light (IPL) technology to improve signs of dry eye disease associated with meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). These eyelid glands supply the oils that help keep tears from evaporating too quickly.
For suitable patients, OptiLight can be part of a personalized treatment plan alongside other recommended care.
Your consultation comes first. We review your eye health, skin type, medical history, and medications to determine whether IPL is appropriate. Your doctor will explain the treatment process, potential risks, and follow-up care.
