Rooted in Community. Focused on You.

Welcome to Paragould Eyes & Aesthetics—a family-owned eye care practice being established by Drs. Evan and Jennifer Button, with the transition from Harris Eye Clinic planned for January 1, 2027.

Our vision brings together comprehensive vision care, advanced medical eye care, and personalized treatment for the growing Paragould community. We believe great care starts with listening, explaining your options, and getting to know you as a person—not simply an appointment.

Two doctors. One shared vision.

Medical & diabetic eye care

Dr. Evan Button

A Hot Springs native and University of Arkansas graduate, Dr. Evan Button earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2020.

His interests include medical optometry, diabetic eye disease, and the connection between eye health and overall wellness. Living with Type 1 diabetes gives him a personal perspective on diabetic eye care.

He completed the Arkansas Optometric Association’s LEAD program in 2022 and is committed to expanding access to quality eye care in Northeast Arkansas.

Dry eye & ocular surface care

Dr. Jennifer Button

Originally from Wichita, Dr. Jennifer Button graduated from the University of Kansas in 2015 and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 2019.

She completed her optometry residency at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2020, further developing her approach to comprehensive patient care.

Her interests include dry eye disease, ocular surface treatments, and aesthetics. She enjoys finding personalized solutions that support eye comfort, eye health, and quality of life.

Beyond the exam room

Our Story

Our story brought together two hometowns—Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Wichita, Kansas—at Northeastern State University, where we met during Jennifer’s optometry residency. A shared commitment to caring for others became a marriage, a growing family, and a vision for a practice of our own.

As parents to Rider and Emi, we understand how much it matters to find care that feels personal and fits family life. We chose to invest in Northeast Arkansas because we see an opportunity to expand access to high-quality eye care close to home.

As Paragould grows, we want to grow alongside it: building lasting relationships, supporting our neighbors, and making thoughtful, comprehensive care part of everyday life in our community.

Our philosophy

Modern Eye Care. Hometown Heart.

Relationships first.

We listen, explain your options, and get to know the person behind the prescription. Care should reflect your needs, your questions, and your family’s life.

Thoughtful innovation.

Our vision combines advanced medical eye care with investment in modern diagnostics and treatment options selected around patients’ needs.

A welcoming experience.

We’re building a practice around a friendly, knowledgeable team and a comfortable environment, where families feel welcome and supported at every visit.

Continuing a legacy

A Familiar Commitment.
A New Chapter.

Harris Eye Clinic has an established history of caring for patients in Paragould. We respect the trust built over those years and the relationships that make this practice part of the community.

Following the planned January 1, 2027 ownership transition, Paragould Eyes & Aesthetics will carry that patient-care legacy forward. Our focus is continuity of care for established patients, alongside thoughtful improvements that serve new and returning families.
